    Programming Announcement

    By kaizerin | January 31, 2007

You probably don’t need me to remind you, but just in case: this coming Sunday, the greatest contest in sports will be joined. Yes, it’s time for Puppy Bowl III, the cutest and fluffiest sporting event you’re likely to see all year. That link will take you to the official website of the Puppy Bowl, where you can meet some of this year’s players, watch highlights of last year’s outstanding match-up and get details on how to vote for the game’s MVP.

Of course, I only watch it for the Kitty Half Time Show. :-)

I’ve been over to check out the talent, and I’ve got some early favorites: Lucy, a gorgeous Shepherd mix; Bomber, the Samoyed who looks like a teddy bear; and Jackson, a sweet-faced little Golden Retriever. Awwww…

This might just be the one thing that could convince me to get cable! How adorable. Me, I’m totally pulling for Milo the French Bulldog, Larry the Vizsla, Izzie, the Cairn Terrier and Sonny the Puggle. Of course, they are ALL adorable :)

I know, couldn’t you just eat them all up? But my dog-archetype was set by the dogs I knew when I was little, so I favor to collie/shepherd mixes and similar.

In the clip of last year’s half-time show, they feature a striped tabby and a grey kitten who look like my own Phalen and Grimalkin when they were kittens. SO adorable!
