Finishing my third M. C. Beaton "Agatha Raisin" mystery. They are all set in the Cotswolds area and have lots of murders. Fun.

Oh do, Bearby! I think you'll enjoy making Flavia's acquaintance. And yes, what is it about the stately homes and orderly village squares of England that makes so many authors want to dump bodies in them?

"...poisonous potential of an English country garden, or the murderous impulses of English country folk."

I just have to laugh when I think of all the wonderful murder mysteries in the backdrops of small British towns! We must be the literary murder capital of the world.

This sounds like a fun and interesting read, and something I would enjoy. I am going to give it a try! Thanks, Bearish!
